With people, not just for them
“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We pray with the community wherever we meet it, and we keep every request that comes through this site.
We are a Christian ministry of evangelism. Here is who we are, why we chose the name, and what the road on our logo means.
The Way Ministry of Evangelism is dedicated to proclaiming Jesus with clarity and courage. We pray with the community, strengthen the hurting, and walk beside anyone fighting through darkness. Our mission is to carry the Gospel into every place God leads us, starting here in the Houston and Galveston region.
The road is the name. Jesus said “I am the way” (John 14:6), and the first believers were called people of the Way (Acts 9:2).
The cross stands where the road ends. Everything we say points there.
The mountains are the hard places people are walking through. “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace” (Isaiah 52:7).
The sun is up. “He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).
The same four words from our banner, and the Scripture behind each one.
“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We pray with the community wherever we meet it, and we keep every request that comes through this site.
“Comfort yourselves together, and edify one another.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11. A word from Scripture and someone who listens.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens.” Galatians 6:2. We stay on the road with people fighting through darkness.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. Starting in Houston and Galveston.
