Motorcycle Evangelism Group

Ride With Christ

About "The Way"

The Way is a Houston/Galveston area community of passionate motorcyclists united by a shared commitment to Christian evangelism. Founded to blend the adventurous spirit of the open road with a devotion to spreading the message of Christ, our group welcomes riders from all backgrounds who are eager to journey together in faith and purpose.

It's important to clarify that The Way is not a motorcycle club (MC), a motorcycle ministry (MM), or a riding club (RC). We are simply a group of motorcycle riders united by our desire to share the Gospel and ride under the leadership of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We want to clarify that The Way does not follow traditional motorcycle culture or those structures. We do not adhere to any club culture or established codes; there are no positions, ranks, or badges to earn among us. Our only distinguishing mark is a back patch, symbolizing who we are and the One under whose guidance we ride.

Our Mission

The Way exists to be more than just a riding club—we are a movement of outreach and hope on two wheels. Through fellowship, organized rides, and service, we aim to share the message of Christ's love, redemption, and guidance. Our patch and our presence on the road are meant to spark conversations, inspire questions, and invite others to embark on the journey of faith with us.

Types of Rides

Fellowship Rides

These are about building relationships. We'll start with prayer, enjoy a scenic ride together, and end with a meal or time of sharing. It's a chance to strengthen our bond as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Outreach Rides

These rides take us into the community. We'll attend rallies, festivals, or public events where we can hand out tracts, pray with people, and share testimonies. The goal is to make evangelism a natural part of our riding.

Service Project Rides

These rides put our faith into action. We'll ride to places where we can serve — like food pantries, veterans' homes, or community clean‑ups. It's a way to show Christ's love through practical service.

Training & Testimony Nights

Not every gathering has to be on the road. Some months we'll meet in a small group setting — at a church hall, coffee shop, or even someone's home — to focus on spiritual growth and encouragement.

These nights will be centered on Bible study, giving us time to dig into God's Word together. We'll also share personal testimonies of how the Lord has worked in our lives and through our rides, and we'll practice evangelism skills so we're better equipped to share the Gospel when we're out in the community.

This is a time for deeper fellowship, prayer, and preparation, helping us stay strong in faith and united in mission.

Group Colors

Our official colors—yellow, black, and white—symbolize the vibrancy of hope, the strength of unity, and the purity of our mission. These hues are not only visually striking but also represent our values and identity wherever we ride.

Yellow - Hope
Black - Unity
White - Purity

Patch Description and Symbolism

At the heart of "The Way" lies a bold and meaningful patch, designed to speak to both the motorcycle community and those seeking spiritual direction. The centerpiece features a determined motorcyclist maneuvering along a winding path. This road leads toward a radiant white cross set before majestic mountains and a golden, sunlit sky—a powerful image that embodies the journey of faith, the challenges and triumphs of spiritual growth, and the ultimate goal of redemption and direction in Christ.

Surrounding this central scene are the phrases "THE WAY," "MOTORCYCLE EVANGELISM," and "RIDE WITH CHRIST." Together, these words clearly declare our mission and serve as both testimony and invitation. The patch proclaims: life is a ride, and the true destination is found in following Jesus.

Testimony and Invitation

The imagery and text on our patch are designed to be both personal statement and open invitation. Every rider wearing The Way colors stands as a testament to the transformative power of Christ and extends an open hand to those seeking hope and salvation. We invite fellow motorcyclists—and anyone drawn to the journey—to ride with us, discover new direction, and find lasting purpose in following Jesus.

Bylaws

1. Purpose

This ministry exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, and reach the motorcycle community through fellowship, rides, and evangelism. All actions should honor Christ and reflect biblical values.

2. Statement of Faith

We affirm the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, and salvation through Jesus Christ alone by grace through faith. Participants commit to living in a way consistent with biblical teaching.

3. Membership

Membership is open to those who profess faith in Christ, agree with the ministry's purpose and beliefs, and commit to a Christ-honoring lifestyle.

4. Structure

There are no formal positions or titles. Responsibility for ministry activities is shared collectively. Temporary roles (ride lead, prayer lead, event support) may be assigned voluntarily for specific events.

5. Meetings

There are no mandatory meetings, and there are no requirements to attend any event or gathering. Rides, fellowship times, and outreach opportunities occur ad hoc as opportunities arise. Anyone is welcome to set up a ride, and we encourage members to take initiative in planning.

As a ministry, we aim to come together at least once a month for a ride. We gather at one location, pray together, ride together, share a meal, and then close in prayer before going our separate ways. If someone discovers an event where we can spread the Gospel or pray for people, that can be organized as well.

In addition, we seek to foster a small group atmosphere by meeting once a month for Bible study, providing time for fellowship, encouragement, and growth in God's Word.

6. Conduct
  • Represent Christ in speech and behavior
  • Promote unity and avoid divisive behavior
  • Avoid illegal or harmful actions
  • Maintain a positive witness in the motorcycle community
7. Patches

Patches belong to the individual once issued and will not be requested back. Riders are encouraged to wear them in a way that honors Christ and reflects the ministry's mission. However, wearing a patch is not required to be a member. Fellowship in this ministry is defined by commitment to Christ and participation in the mission, not by outward symbols.

8. Finances

There are no dues required for membership or participation. Funds received are used solely for ministry, outreach, and benevolence. Financial transparency is maintained, and no one may personally profit from ministry funds.

9. Restoration

If issues arise, the goal is repentance, reconciliation, and healing.

10. Amendments

Bylaws may be updated with agreement from participating members.
